Painting 1 - 2019
I worked from a staged photograph I took of items in the foyer of our home.
Painting 2 - 2019
Perhaps a subject matter that some may be curious to know why it was selected. This is one of the bathrooms in our home and a view from an angle most people
can relate to. I liked the contrast in colors, soft lighting, reflections on objects and the 3D depth the shadows help create… so I shot a photo and gathered my art materials.

Painting 5 - 2019
JoAnne and I took a short trip to St. Pete’s Beach the winter of 2019. We were on the beach early one morning and watched a Beach Rentals operation setup for the day. An hour later they were ready for their first customer.
This painting was my first done on a canvas board. Just wanted to try something new.
PAINTING 5 - Open for Business
Painting 6 - 2019
I noticed my daughter Jodi’s dog, Finnegan, resting in her bed from another room and liked the light and softness of the setting, so I grab my camera and snapped the photo.
Another canvas board painting.
PAINTING 6 - Finn
Painting 7 - 2019
A painting of our foyer, looking into the family room. I was attracted to the soft colors and depth perspective. The objects in my first painting were staged on the table near the stairs. I really like the light that room captures.
This was the last of three paintings done on canvas board.. I was ready to try canvas.
PAINTING 7 - JoAnne’s Foyer
Painting 8 - 2019
There's just something about Longhorns that I like. I bought this photo on Shutterstock because I thought it would be a good test for me. It was! I don't display this painting but store it in a closet to look back on. I thought the brown spots on his white underside came out fantastic. I named him Clyde.
Painting 8 - Clyde (he needed a name)
